Mal Meninga is Australian rugby league's 13th Immortal.

His playing career spanned 16 years and countless accolades, and he captained teams at the club, state and national level. He is considered one of the game’s greats, having been inducted as a Rugby League Immortal.

In 2019 he joined the Gold Coast Titans as High Performance Senior Advisor, and has been influential in building the young club’s culture and vision, and driving sustainable success.

He is also director and co-founder of First Nations business Regional Economic Solutions, consulting with both government and non-government organisations to drive Indigenous leadership and engagement.

Mal has also been honoured as a Member of the Order of Australia, an Australian High Achiever of The Year, and has been inducted into both the Australian Rugby League Hall of Fame, Sport Australia Hall of Fame and is a proud Australian South Sea Islander.

As well as coaching the Canberra Raiders for five years, Mal coached the Queensland rugby league side for a decade, leading the team through their most successful period in history, and has also coached the Australian Kangaroos since 2016.

Following his rugby league playing career, Mal has been in demand as a consultant, mentor, coach, public speaker and media personality.

Whether it’s on the sporting field or in the boardroom, Mal works with teams and individuals to drive high performance. Borne from his successful coaching career and combined with post-graduate study in business management, Mal designed a value-driven process that unearths the cultural DNA of a group, solidifies the vision and goals, and instills these across the organisation, creating the integral building blocks to ensure a successful legacy.
